Volunteer Cookout August 8th

Duke Forest Volunteers… Please join us on August 8th for a volunteer cookout in the Duke Forest!

Since last summer, we have had more volunteers on the Duke Forest than ever before. Our volunteers have helped move our teaching and research mission forward and helped us rebuild and maintain our forest infrastructure. You have been a HUGE help to us, and you are an integral part of team stewarding, promoting, and caring for the many resources of the Duke Forest.

Please bring your close family (leashed canines ok!) out to enjoy the Forest and mingle with our staff and other Duke Forest volunteers. We will have an all-American hot dog cookout (beef and veggie dogs, fixin’s, potato salad, etc.). If you would like, please bring a dessert (and serving utensil) to share.

Our staff are excited to see you again and say “thank you” for being a part of the Duke Forest!

Volunteers were emailed a LINK to RSVP
