On Saturday morning before your big Reunion Weekend Saturday kicks off, we invite visiting Duke alumni to take a hike! Enjoy a refreshing springtime walk/hike in the Duke Forest, Duke’s biggest and oldest teaching and research laboratory. Duke Forest staff will be on-site to answer your questions about the Forest and hand you a map for your self-guided adventure. Hikes could range from 0.8 mi to 4 mi depending on your enthusiasm. The location will be less than three miles from campus and will shared with those who RSVP.
You have two options for RSVP:
- RSVP to park inside the Forest gates at a scheduled time frame in one of the 12 slots per hour from 8am – 11am. You’ll have the chance to meet and greet with Duke Forest staff near where you park.
- Or RSVP to receive a map by email with some suggested routes and venture any where you want on your own schedule!
