Give to Duke Forest on #GivingTuesdayWe are reflecting on a wonderful year of teaching, research, and community outreach here in the Duke Forest office. And this Thanksgiving, we have a lot to be thankful for. Community support has really made much of our work possible. To further our unique teaching and research mission, your outdoor classroom and living laboratory needs your help this season. As you make your giving plans, please remember the Duke Forest and the many ways the Forest enhances your life from providing miles and miles of beautiful hiking trails, to bringing local K-12 classrooms to a place where children can make an intimate connection with nature, to hosting research that has changed the way we look at the world. It is all happening right here in your backyard! Join your friends and neighbors by making a donation to the Duke Forest Improvement Fund on or before #GivingTuesday, Tuesday, December 3rd. We have two days for getting deals around this time of year – Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. Together, people are creating a new ritual for our annual calendar. #GivingTuesday is the opening day of the giving season. We hope the Duke Forest will be a part of yours.
